Hey there! I'm Danna, a Product Designer calling Chicago my creative playground. Picture this: a girl who started out chasing stories as a journalist and social communicator, diving headfirst into the wild world of marketing where I spent over eight years turning market whispers into bold brand. I was all about crafting narratives that didn't just sell products—they sparked connections, built loyalty, and made experiences feel alive in a crowded digital jungle.
But here's where the plot twists: my endless curiosity pulled me toward something even more magical. Technology had always been my secret crush, and after some late-night soul-searching (and maybe a few pep talks with my reflection), I realized Product Design was the perfect mash-up of my worlds.
It wasn't a total leap into the unknown—after all, as a journalist, I'd been researching like a detective, designing experiences through words and visuals, and putting users (aka real people) at the heart of every strategy. So, I rolled up my sleeves and dove into Google's UX Design Certificate program, where I honed my skills on real-deal projects: dreaming up iOS apps, building responsive websites, and tweaking platforms to make them feel effortless and intuitive.
